Not all amethyst gems are created equal. I happen to *love* the deep delicious grape-y goodness of a primo African Amethyst, chosen with extra care and choosiness in person right in Manhattan's Diamond District.

In this design, the cushion cut gemstone's setting meets a super comfy band at a base of granulation (all hand detailed, bead by bead) adding drama and a sweet vintage touch that's both tailored and whimsical, just like Darcy.
