From the 1910s

Dark brown shoes from the period just after the Edwardian era 1918 - 1920, when hemlines rose, exposing the ankle. The single strap without the t-bar made these shoes rather daring for their time. They're of a high quality, in soft leather with bar straps & low Louis heels. They have a flattering design & elegant look. You can only tell that they are brown by the threads.

Details & Condition
They are small & narrow, approximately an English size 3 & an American size 5
There are no visible repairs & the buttons are intact. They're lined in leather & cloth.
If intended for wear the heel pad will soon need replacing.
The shoes are delicate, I would suggest only wearing them for a few special events.
They were unworn when purchased, I wore them a couple of times.
PLEASE NOTE One of the straps is about to break, it will need very careful mending by polishing the break & using thin glue backed webbing underneath to hold it together. Please view the last photo.
