This charming art community nestled in the hills of Brown County soon captured our affections! It was here, wandering through local galleries, that my husband received his epiphany: his wife was to start making wine chillers! There you have it folks- That’s how we roll around here...

THIS LISTING INCLUDES FOUR WINE GLASSES AND ONE BOTTLE CHILLER. Each piece is a hollow, wheel-thrown form layered with two different lead-free glazes, then fired to cone 5 (2250 deg.F). After cooling completely, the goblet portion is added to the bottoms with the help of a glass cutter and industrial epoxy. Simply place your cooled bottle in the chiller to help maintain its temperature, or add a little ice. When not in use for wine, why not keep it on your counter as a utensil canister? These sturdy, functional pieces will bring years of enjoyment!

Part of the beauty of hand made work it that each piece truly is one-of-a-kind. I do not use molds, but weigh the clay prior to throwing to help ensure like sizes. Yet, due to its homemade nature, there may be a trivial difference in height and width of stem. Expect slight variances in how the glazes blend, run, etc. Each goblet is approximately 7.25-8.25 inches in height and hold 12 oz of liquid. Wine chiller measures approximately 7” tall by 5” across. Chiller is dishwasher safe, but for the glasses I recommend hand-washing.
