This listing is for TWO patterns to create your own Pokemon-inspired monster catching ball! Unlike many patterns, these will show you how to make a hinged ball, which can be opened and closed easily, and can be used to contain a small gift or toy. The hinged balls are also of a size that they can be nested, with the medium sized hinged ball inside of the larger one.

The patterns require an F or G hook, worsted weight yarn (acrylic recommended) in three colors, a yarn needle, and scissors. You will need basic crochet knowledge of working in the round, along with chaining, single crochet, half-double crochet, and slip stitches. The patterns are in PDF format; you will need a PDF reader of your choice to open it.
