Tibetan Prayer Flags are perfect for outdoor or indoor meditation spaces, altars, or doorways. Use them to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. If left out in the elements, they do disintegrate over time--some say this is part of the process of sending prayers on the breeze. They may not be meant to last, but that's actually a good thing.

NOTE: The flags come rolled together. It takes a bit for them to unroll naturally. I hang them first, and then I fold them vertically against the roll, which seems to open them up. Then I let nature do the rest.

It is respectful to hang the flags in an area where they can flow in the wind. Never allow the flags to touch the ground. Proper disposal of flags is by burning or burying in the earth.
