Our sweaters can be hand washed or dry cleaned. Our most important advice is not to wash or dryclean your sweaters too often. We recommend washing after 4-5 wears, and spraying your sweater with wool spray after each wear, such as the Wool and Cashmere spray from the Laundress. Make sure your let your sweater rest after spraying before you put it away.

When it is time to wash your sweater, please always hand-wash in cold water with a little bit of wool detergent, such as Woolite or Soak. Hot water may cause a sweater to shrink. Gently rinse the garment in cool water and avoid twisting or wringing. To dry, lay it smoothly on a flat rack or a towel away from direct sunlight. And please, do not ever put your sweater in the dryer!

Beautiful, handknit mittens. I didn’t realize the wool was alpaca, which I like, but I may not have chosen them if I had known. The photo looks like there are no alpaca hairs at all. Otherwise, they are very good quality.
