Locomotive Wax Seal for Christmas/Holiday Cards

Item highlights

  • Materials: Stainless Steel, Bronze

Seller's description

Make your holiday cards and gifts stand out from the rest with this Locomotive wax seal! A wax seal on your letters and packages grabs attention and sticks in people's memory because they see AND touch it. Most people have only seen one in a movie in the hands of knights & nobles., so they think it must be important.

The tank and smoke stack are rounded for a unique sense of depth, and the top of the handle is marked to make it much easier to align the impression and avoid setting it crooked. You don't often see this feature in other wax seals!

This would also make a great gift for an engineer, conductor, or model railroad fan!

Request a custom order to choose any 3 digits you like for the side, or make it blank.

Don't forget to order sealing wax! Regular candle wax will not hold up in the mail and just makes a mess. https://www.etsy.com/listing/897585462/international-sealing-wax-5-sticksabout

Please use caution when working with fire and hot wax to avoid burns.

All of our seals are 3D printed in stainless steel with a bronze binder using the latest manufacturing methods, making this a juxtaposition of the ancient and the modern.

All of our wax seals come with a gift box.

Please always note any critical delivery dates in your order notes. Thanks!

Please note that this seal is NOT compatible with J. Herbin traditional sealing wax (the non-mailable variety); that particular wax sticks to these seals more strongly than to the paper which causes a real mess. Obviously I strongly recommend my International Sealing Wax - that has always released cleanly and survives the postal system almost every time, even to the far side of the world!
