Bamboo Lace Chemise Nightgown, Made to Order

A lace trimmed sleep chemise in viscose of bamboo

features no elastic under the bust for easy sleep and mobility and soft bamboo binding around the back. For this one I tried to eliminate as much as elastic as possible without compromising fit for a comfortable sleeping nightgown but it can also but used as a slip under dresses when not much support is required.

Currently I am knitting, cutting and sewing everything myself, I don't have any assistants. I am preparing to retire after an amazing 18 years of full time selling handmade womens apparel on Etsy, I will not be restocking any textiles. A range of sleepwear, lingerie and loungerie in soft practical light to medium weight viscose of bamboo with contrasting soft stretch lace trim. This textile features a drapy hand, a lot of stretch and is velvety to the touch.

bamboo is a soft wood pulp fiber that is known for being cool to the touch and very soft. This textile is washable and holds it's shape well but we've noticed that it "grows" with hanging.

92/8 viscose of bamboo/spandex
95/5 nylon/spandex lace and trims

If you are hoping for a very specific length or fit please be prepared to have the item hemmed or altered after receipt. We try to fit true to size but will err on the long and large side to allow for this possibility.*

anything described as made to order in the title has a turn around time on production, this is usually 1-2 weeks but can vary through the year especially during the holidays. The listing will be updated with the turn around time in the shipping tab, our announcement page and also in the right hand side bar of the listing. *****PACKAGING*****

Your order will be wrapped in simple kraft paper and a fabric ribbon enclosed in a small cardboard box or 100% recyclable paper envelope. We use paper tape which is recyclable on curbside and recycled shipping boxes when available. In the interest of saving paper your invoice will not be included in domestic shipments but a link to print your invoice will be emailed with your order should you need one.

The return address will be from Amanda Boyd not from Sandmaiden Sleepwear for confidentiality.

International orders we can include the gift card but not omit the invoice or gift wrap for customs purposes.

********Return Policy*********

New return policies as of September 23 2024

Return with authorization number within the package posted back within 1 week in the original unworn and unlaundered condition. Please contact me for an RA# and in some cases a return shipping label.

We can offer an exchange for the same item in a different size or color if available and on hand, I can't offer an exchange for anything that has to be made or is a different price however I can issue store credit.

Shipping charges are non refundable. Return postage fees are the responsibility of the buyer. In the event we provide a pre paid return label the cost will be deducted from the refund.

Returns that are posted back after one week of receipt will be subject to a 10% restocking fee per week up to 3 weeks maximum in the event the item was held for a gift occasion or received when on vacation etc. Etsy does not offer store credit but we can offer store credit on our website for a late return up to 30 days in lieu of the restocking fee.

Returns with any odors or stains of moisturizer, perfume, smoke etc and/or signs of laundering will be rejected and sent back to the customer or donated.

International orders that are refused or unclaimed at customs will be donated, I do not accept a return on these orders but will re ship the items if shipping charges are paid for by the buyer.

Panties and sets with panties are final sale items, no exceptions.

Special order colors that are not offered in the drop down menu or custom sized orders such as half size or split size or petite/tall lengths where not offered in the drop down menu are final sale items.

Returns will take 1-3 weeks to process. Be sure to include the RA# within the package to expedite the process.
