These unique tools are worn on your thumb index finger and help you grab the needle....they also work for things like unscrewing things that are difficult, like hot light bulbs! Use on wide nose pliers for a great grip. I use them on wide nose pliers to hold tiny things for drilling with my dremel, like job's tears, which are smooth and slippery.

I developed this tool when making pine needle baskets, and began packaging them for sale to the public, following requests by my students and other teachers who wanted to offer them to their students.

There is something about finding "the right" tool for a task that is just indescribable. Once you have found "the right" tool for a task, it is difficult to do without. That is how i feel about this invention. Any time my fingers need a better grip, i go for the needle grabbers, and i keep them in many spots all over the house. Not every person who uses them feels this way, many do. When i teach basketry, each student is provided with all sizes, and i encourage my students to try them while they can!
