HOW TO ORDER A PHOTO MAP

When ordering we ask for the photos to be sent to our email address files [!at] noordinaryemporium.com. Alternatively, the photos can also be shared from an online folder such as a Dropbox or Google Drive. Please share access to the photos with files [!at] noordinaryemporium.com
Photos must be at least 3000px wide / tall. Please ensure that you have appropriate permission to use the images; all images received will be deemed as permitted for use on the design.

Please also let us know the following:
● The map area you would like. Please let us know if you would like the World view, USA, Europe, Australia, UK, or any specific country.
● Personalisation details - e.g, the names at the top and any other messages you would like included. All wording can be customised.
● Your font and colour choices - on the link below are font charts and colour charts, please let us know your choices from the charts.

Each personalised map that we create is truly unique and is customised just for you. No one will ever have the same map that we design for you!
We create an illustration of the map of your choice e.g. a map of the World, USA, Europe, or any other area or country, and then add your favourite photos of places, cities or countries to your map design. We then personalise the design by adding your own special wording. The wording could be specific to your trip, a special anniversary message to your loved one, a birthday message to friends or family or anything of your choice. All wording is customisable and included in the design service we provide.

Our travel maps make a perfect anniversary or wedding gifts, birthday gifts for friends or even a memorable retirement gift. Ideal for special occasions or to recapture your holiday journey and favourite places visited around the world.

This design is just one style from our wide range of personalised maps. Our example maps show the world view, USA, Europe and UK, but we can create map views for any place at all. Perhaps you've recently had a tour of Australia or visited a number of countries in the Far East. We can create maps for any place at all.

OUR DESIGN PROCESS

● DESIGN - After receiving your order and the all details required to create the item, we will work on the design within the dispatch times shown on the product page or your purchases page. Please ensure the details you provide are accurate.
● DESIGN PROOFS - As soon as your design has been created we will message you with a proof image for you to check over. This is typically a few days before the dispatch date if you have not chosen to add on a Rush Turnaround Option.
● PROOF REVISIONS - Orders are limited to two rounds of minor design changes. Extra rounds of changes will be charged additional fees.
● DESIGN APPROVAL - Once you have approved your design we will prepare the design for printing or provide the digital file.
Once finalised we are unable to edit the design. Changes after finalisation will be charged additional fees.
We are unable to print or finalise your order without approval of the proof.
We will honour the dispatch date if the proof is approved in good time, however, the dispatch date may be later than shown if approval is received late.
● DISPATCH & DELIVERY - DISPATCH & DELIVERY- Orders will be dispatched by the date shown, or sooner if you have already agreed to an earlier dispatch or purchased the Rush Turnaround Option. DELIVERY

Delivery in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland:

● Standard delivery: Royal Mail / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 3-8 working days.
● Tracked: Royal Mail Tracked / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 2-5 working days.
● Express: Royal Mail Special Delivery / Courier. After the item is dispatched, the aim is to deliver in 1-3 working days.

International delivery:

We offer most designs as completed digital files. If available the digital option will be on the same listing as the printed version.

We create the design exactly the same as when we print, but supply you with the completed digital file that is ready to print. The digital file is not a template and cannot be edited afterwards.

The turnaround time for digital files is shown in the listing description text. We send a proof to check you are happy with everything before finalising the file. The files are ready at the same time, if you do not want to make any changes.

The estimated delivery times will not change when ordering a digital file.

● Displaying the foam board on your wall

There are a few ways we suggest -

Placing the foam board in a thin frame without any glass/front that can then be attached to the wall.
Using mirror brackets to hold the foam board onto the wall.
Using a heavy duty clip that is attached to the wall, or then hung with heavy duty cord.
We can also drill holes in all four corners or just at the top to use with a hook for example.
