Choose any yarn you like or have left over – Carlos will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. Sock yarn will be fine, but I prefer the softer merino yarn. If you knit Carlos for a child, make sure the yarn is robust, washable and doesn’t pill too much. With the gauge
27 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm = 4 x 4 inches Carlos measures approximateley 40 cm = 16 inches from head to toe.

The pattern will lead you step-by-step through the knitting, sewing and embroidering, including loads of detail photos and charts. Additionally, you’ll find instructions for the more elaborate techniques used like three-needle bind-off and alike.

PLEASE MIND: The animal is knitted in the ROUND, there is no instruction for flat knitting!
