This is a vintage new old stock Luxottica Sara women's eyeglass frame in a shiny goldtone finish. There is a brown enamel color in the bridge detail. The frame has adjustable nose pads. The frame is also marked avant garde. The frame does not have demo lenses. Eye size is 52 mm, bridge size is 16 mm and temple length is 135 mm. Lens depth is 44 mm. There is a small spot of tarnish on one temple. These frames are ready to have your prescription lenses made for them.

New old stock frames are frames that have not been worn. These will be sturdier than putting your prescription into a
frame that formerly held prescription lenses and worn. Wearing a plastic frame ages the plastic as it is heated by the
wearer, slowly aging the plastic, making it more brittle over time. The same can be said for the nosepads on a metal
frame, but these are replacable. Please look at the above measurements for this frame. Compare them to the
sizing of your current frame. There are markings on all optical shop frames. Choosing a frame of similiar measurements
will increase your satisfaction with your new frame purchase. Sometimes a trip to the optical shop to try on frames of
the same or similiar sizing will be a time saver in the end.
