This badge buddy hangs lower than your ID badge and shows off your credentials so there is no mistaking your role. Choose from our huge selection of 32 background colors! The Custom Standard Vertical Badge Buddy is intended for use when your ID has a hole punched directly into it. If you use a badge holder or a clear sleeve, this item will not work and you would need to use our Custom Oversized Vertical Badge Buddy (see links below or search our badge buddy section in our shop).

VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to add your personalization EXACTLY as you would like it displayed on your custom badge buddy. We will print it exactly as you write it including upper & lower case letters, misspellings, punctuation, etc. Also please note that this listing is just for the custom badge buddy - the ID card (picture, name, company, etc.) is not included - it is pictured to show how this product is used.

Size: 2 1/8" wide by 4 1/2" long. The printed area extends about 1" below your standard ID badge card. Thickness is the same as your regular badge card and is rigid.

Materials: Our custom badge buddies are printed double sided on synthetic waterproof stock. The badge buddies are then laminated with a heavy duty laminate so that they are completely waterproof and built to last. Printing is on both sides so if your badge flips over it will still display your title.

Personalization: The more characters & lines on your custom badge buddy, the smaller the font will be. The smaller the font, the more difficult to read the badge buddy will become. We can print on one or two lines (three is possible in some situations). See our additional photos for examples of the size differences. If you have a two word title such as "Code Team", this could be printed on one line or two lines. Please specify if you have a preference. When in doubt, ask for a proof!

Proofing: We can provide a digital proof upon request. Occasionally we may send one if we are unclear on what you would like.

Colors: We offer 32 background colors to choose from. We typically recommend selecting White Font as this allows the text to be highly contrasted and easily read. Though some of our lighter background colors like Yellow or Bright Green look best with a Black Font. Additionally, if you really want to customize your badge buddy, you can combine any of our standard colors for some really bold and stylish effects (ex: Purple Background with Light Pink Font). Please know that colors displayed on a screen vs printed colors tend to vary slightly - even depending on the angle that you are viewing your screen. Some color shifting may occur - particularly with brighter colors - they tend to print darker. We have optimized the colors on the screen to hopefully give you the most realistic view of how the product will actually look.

Add to the White Space: There is plenty of room to add more content to the white space above your title! Make this into a great reference card. If you want more than 20 of these, we can look into adding content to this area. This could be phone numbers, hospital safety codes, or any of our badge reference information! There is an additional setup fee to do this. Just send us a message for a quote!
