For this design, I'm offering the community symbol emblem in your choice of gold, silver, or black & white on a 2 inch long tie clip/tie bar. The silver color is not a metallic, it is designed with varying shades of gray and white mixed to give the appearance of being silver. Unfortunately I cannot replicate a true silver or gold metallic color on a laser printer.

You have a choice of four metal color finishes: shiny silver, shiny gold, gunmetal black, and antiqued gold/brass. These are silver and gold plated mixed metal alloys.

The community emblem is a design based on a Celtic Triskele. The Triskele is the basic shape of the Emblem, with three "arms" curving out from the center and merging with an encompassing circle. Not all Triskeles are community emblems. It is the details of the design that make it the BDSM emblem. Not the basic shape.

This Triskele symbol in either black, silver, or gold has long been a representation for the BDSM community and the intense, uniquely individual relationships between its members; like the relationship between a Dom/Domme and his/her submissive. The relationship is as unique and precious as each individual, but one overriding point is that the sub belongs to his/her Dom/Domme.

To members of the BDSM community, this Triskele has these specific details:

1) The rims and spokes are of a color indicating metal
2) The rims and spokes are of uniform width with the arms rotating clockwise.
3) The inner fields are black.

The metallic color is a representation of the chains or irons of BDSM and the black background as a celebration of the controlled dark side of BDSM sexuality. The curved lines symbolize the lash as it swings, and the circle shape represents the unity and oneness of a community that protects its own.

This simple symbolic graphic is printed on 50lb matte archival paper. I used Diamond Glaze to bond the paper to the 15mm flat glass cabochon. After 3 hours of drying, I bonded it to the solid metal bezel tray of the tie clip with E-6000 adhesive and place it in a cool dry place to firmly set for 24 hours.

Please measure your neck carefully as this design is made to order and is therefore not returnable.
For a comfortable snug fit, add 1/2 inch to your measurement and choose that size to buy.
For a more relaxed, loose fit add 1 inch to your measurement and choose that size from the drop down menu.

Care Instructions
Jewelry should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off at night.
Gently clean with polishing cloth, no liquid or chemical jewelry cleaners.
Metal and liquids don’t mix. Avoid contact with water, lotions, perfumes, or any other kind of chemicals. The Ph balance in your skin and environmental pollutant levels can contribute to corrosion even on fine metals.
Store in a dry area out of direct sunlight when not being worn.
