Materials: Gem type: Tanzanite

This Tanzanite Trillium is from about 30 years ago. It is very nicely cut and shows both red and purple color, depending on the light. It measures 5mm from point to point and from point to the opposite line between points and 3.5mm deep. I believe it would make a beautiful ring or pendant (accent or main stone). You and your customer will both be pleased with the stone.
As you see, the stone isn't a dark color or a light one, but midway. I wish I had more, but this is the only one I bought. Since eye surgery has taken my ability to set prongs, I am passing it along to this generation of stone setters in hopes it becomes something treasured.
