Custom and personalized orders

I want you to be happy with your purchase! By nature, a “custom” item is created with a particular person in mind. It would be very difficult to find someone who wanted the same item made in the same way. For this reason, custom items are non-refundable. Please be aware when purchasing an item, that you are agreeing to the details as outlined in the listing as well as the terms outlined in the policies. If the listing details aren’t what you want to purchase, contact me before making the purchase. In most cases, we are only able to make changes within 24 hours of the time the order was placed. If you are not satisfied with any item you receive, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order.

For custom cushions, arm rests or ottoman cushions, we make the items according to the measurements you give at the time of purchase. It is your responsibility to correctly measure for the cushions, arm rests or ottoman cushions. I am not able to determine size from a picture of a chair. Let me know if the ties need to be in a special location for your chair. I’m happy to make slight adjustments to accommodate your chair if you notify me BEFORE sewing begins. We are not able to make changes 24 hours after the order is placed. If you want to have alterations made after the sewing is complete, return shipping will be your responsibility and an alterations fee will be assessed. We have a +/- 1/2” allowance for size discrepancy.

WHAT ARE THE WASHING/CARE INSTRUCTIONS? Glider/Rocker Cushions- Spot cleaning would be the first line of defense. However, if necessary, the cushions can be washed according to reports I’ve received from customers. They would need to be washed on the gentle cycle with cold water. Lay flat to dry. In some cases, the covers can be removed from the foam cushions and laundered as above. Please be aware that we are not responsible for problems due to washing.

A Note About COLORS: Fabric swatches on a computer screen can sometimes be different than the color in real life. For this reason, if you are trying to match fabrics with paint colors or items in the room where color is critical, we strongly encourage you to purchase a swatch of the fabrics you are considering. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept returns due to color discrepancies.

Shipping and packaging

Shipping I ship using FedEx and USPS Priority Mail. If you live in AK or HI, or if the actual shipping charges are much higher than you were charged, I will contact you for additional shipping payment. I am responsible for the package until it leaves my possession. If you would like to purchase insurance to cover it after that, let me know when you place your order. I am not responsible for packages that are lost due to an incorrect shipping address. Please be aware that an incorrect address on file AT THE TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE may delay your order or cause additional shipping fees. If you need to change your address, PLEASE do it BEFORE you make a purchase.

**WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? Turnaround varies slightly, but in most cases, it’s 8-10 weeks. The turnaround time is from the time of payment until shipping. I’m in Tennessee, so depending on where you live, shipping may take from 2 days (East Coast) to a week (West Coast). **CAN I SEND YOU MY OWN FABRICS? We are not using fabrics other than the ones offered in our shop at this time. ** DO YOU SEND SWATCHES? Yes, you may purchase a swatch from our shop. This listing is for a set of glider/rocker cushions with a SQUARE TOP and ARM REST COVERS + OTTOMAN CUSHION.  Please carefully read the information below to see how it works! There’s a lot of information here to help you make your purchase.

SINCE THERE IS A LARGE VARIATION IN THE SIZES OF TRADITIONAL ROCKING CHAIRS, PLEASE USE THE GUIDE BELOW TO GIVE ME THE MEASUREMENTS YOU NEED FOR YOUR CHAIR.  

1. Measure your chair or existing cushions using the measurements listed below. In the listing photos above, there are pictures to help you take accurate measurements.  

SEAT CUSHION 
Width across the front (if your current seat cushion is a T cushion, take the measurement without the “ears”. If you would like to keep the T shape, see below for more details) - 
Width across the back- 
Depth- the measurement from the back of the cushion to the front of the cushion  

BACK CUSHION 
Height- from the top of the seat cushion to the tallest point of the back. The back cushion will sit on top of the seat cushion, so please subtract 2.5” from your height measurement. 
Width across the top of the back- 
Width across the bottom of the back-  

OTTOMAN CUSHION 
Width- From side to side. 
Depth- From the back to the front

ARM REST COVERS 
Height- From the seat to the top of the arm rest. 
Depth- From the back of the arm to the front (only the part of the arm you want covered) 
If your arm rest top is wider than 2.5 inches, give me that measurement also.  

2. Give me the exact measurements in the notes to seller at checkout. Please use the format outlined in Step #1. You can copy and paste the guide and then just add your measurements.   

3. In the Personalization field, give the fabric name that you’ve chosen for your cushions. Even if you choose a fabric shown on the chairs in the listing photos, I’ll need you to tell me which one.

These cushions are tufted without buttons and have two sets of ties on sides, toward the top of the back cushion and two sets on the back of the seat cushion. The arm rest covers fold over the arm rest and are secured with hook and loop tape. There are pockets on the outside of the arm rest covers.

Beautiful well made cushions fit our glider rocker perfectly. Very well made. Seller not as responsive as I would have liked but we are over the moon with our custom cushions.
