Highlights

Made by SheepInStitches
Materials: coloured felt, satin ribbon, organic wool, embroidery thread

PLEASE NOTE... Unless stated, my items are flat, single-sided , NOT 3D and free-standing.
They are designed to be hung by a ribbon. The reverse is plain felt fabric and can be personalized with a hand-embroidered name, date or event.

Hand sewn and embroidered Portland ewe made from a 40% wool 60% viscose mix felt with needle felted real wool fleece and filled with wool from my own organically certified flock.
The pattern for this was hand drawn by me from photos of various prize winning sheep and captures something of the unique characteristics of the breed.
Portland sheep are from Dorset in the S.W. of England and have tan legs and face, sometimes with lighter muzzles and eye patches, and spiral horns which are smaller in the ewe and very large and impressive in the ram.
The Portland is classed as a rare breed but has gained popularity with small holders because it is small, tough and hardy.

Size approx 18xm long x 16cm high plus hanging loop. Each one is custom made and will be unique.

I am gradually working my way through the sheep breeds of the British Isles but if you would like a different breed not yet available in my shop then please convo me and I will be happy to create something just for you! I am also happy to produce any type of animal for you as long as I can draw it!Please note, this is an ornamental item and not intended as a toy.

Non-washable.
