This bright, inspirational print features a quote by Saint Thomas Aquinas:
"To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary.
To one without faith, no explanation is possible."

Surrounded by books (including titles that he authored), St. Thomas Aquinas looks heavenward amidst symbols traditionally associated with him - the sunburst on his chest, Dominican crosses, and fleur-de-lis. Drawn by hand with archival ink pens, I then added color with watercolors.

I can personalize this piece by adding a name, date, or phrase - perhaps on the spine of one of the books? A whimsical way to create a totally unique gift. Just select the "personalized" option for that size and include the details in the "message to seller" at checkout. (Note: on the 5x7 size only a limited amount of text can be added.)

These prints measure 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, or 12x16 inches on bright white, acid free, 100# paper. A narrow white border runs around the edge of the print. Prints, notecards (box of 8), and prayercards (sets of 12), are professionally run by a small, locally owned printshop that works carefully with me to ensure the colors effectively capture the feeling of the original drawing. On the back of each print, I hand-write (in pencil) the name of the piece along with my signature and date.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective plastic sleeve with a backing board in a sturdy photo/document mailer.
