The cover is made with new black 1/4" braided Elastic and new fabric.

Fleece Wash & Care Instructions:
Wash item in cold water on the delicate or hand wash cycle and then tumble dry on LOW or simply air dry. Avoid ironing, bleach, and fabric softer.

Works best with shoulder rest, and no need to remove the chin rest cover when put the violin in the case.

My kids were complaining the chin rest and neck area is not comfortable while practicing theviolin. The cover works great for them and no more complaining.

I also love the comfy chin rest cover for myself, I can practice for a long time without feeling uncomfortable for my chin and neck. The cover protects the neck from the chin rest's metal clamp.
