At Aris Designs, we know there is not a one-size-fits-all hoop earring. To meet your needs, a variety of earring sizes, finishes and thicknesses are offered. THIN hoops are lightweight and airy, THICK hoops add durability to your signature look and EXTRA THICK really showcase your bold style. Find the perfect hoop earring for YOU today! Three finishes are available: Classic/Plain hoops are made from round wire for perfect understated elegance. Hammered hoops shine at all angles with a faceted appearance in the hammered finish. Flat hammered hoops have a chic modern look that will catch the light all at once on the flat hammered surface. Please see below for more detailed information on hoop thicknesses.

What is the difference between 20 gauge, 18 gauge and 16 gauge?

The gauge of the wire refers to the thickness, or diameter of the wire. The SMALLER the number, the THICKER the wire. THIN HOOPS: 20 gauge (20g) = 0.8 mm (standard ear wire thickness) THICK HOOPS: 18 gauge (18g) = 1 mm EXTRA THICK HOOPS: 16 gauge (16g) = 1.3 mm 20 gauge wire is delicate and therefore very lightweight, even in the larger size hoop earrings. Although I use a hardened wire, care must still be taken to not inadvertently bend the wire out of shape (ie, no napping in earrings larger than 1" and store them safely in their earring box when packing for a trip). Moving up to the 18 gauge/Thick hoops offers a notable increase in the durability of the hoop if lightweight and airy is not your ideal when searching for earrings.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All purchases come in a jewelry box tied up with a bow and ready for gifting. I am happy to add a gift message. Mark the order as a gift and you will then be able to add a custom gift message to the recipient or upgrade your gift presentation with the addition of gift wrap for an added charge.

When will I receive my order?

This depends on multiple factors. The best idea of delivery timeframe will be found within the specific listing itself, as some of my items take longer to make than others. Etsy will provide an estimated delivery window, assuming there are no shipping delays. This estimate is based on my location (near Portland, OR) and your delivery location. I do offer upgraded shipping options at checkout if you need your order sooner. Please also feel free to reach out prior to purchase to see if I am able to ship any sooner. When I am able to accommodate this, I am happy to do so. Please note that shipping delays are outside of my control. If you have a concern about your order, please contact me and I will assist in any way that I am able.

Can you guarantee a delivery date?

I am unable to guarantee delivery of your order by a specific date, due to factors outside of my control within USPS. If you are on a time crunch, please consider upgrading your shipping at checkout. Note that USPS only guarantees delivery timeframes on their priority EXPRESS shipping (not including HI and AK). That said, I can guarantee a ship-by date and often ship earlier than my deadline. Please contact me prior to purchase if you need your order by a very specific date and I will work with you within my ability to meet your needs.

Do you offer Custom Orders?

Yes! I work in sterling silver, gold-filled, Solid 14k, 18k, and 22k (yellow, white and rose gold) and platinum. I offer three thicknesses of wire for my hoop earrings and a wide variety of sizes, shapes and finishes. Please reach out to discuss your perfect hoop earring!

What is Argentium Sterling Silver?

Argentium is a wonderful sterling silver alloy that has a higher pure silver content compared to traditional sterling silver. Argentium has 94% pure silver and traditional sterling silver has 92.5% pure silver. Other positive qualities of Argentium include: -Brighter White Appearance -Increased Tarnish Resistance -Stiffer final product (less likely to deform with wear and use!) -Considered a better option for some people with metal sensitivities

Lovely and delicate Argentium Sterling Silver hoop earrings. Choose from classic round wire or a lightly hammered finish. Small to large sizes available.
