Wear red on Friday to raise awareness for those who are deployed. This bracelet works for men and women, looking to show support for family and friends who are deployed. It is a Survivor bracelet with a mental stamped RED, for Remember Everyone Deployed.

Survivor bracelets are made of a single length of paracord that can be undone in the event of an emergency. Length of cord varies by size of the bracelet, but averages between 8'-10'.


About my shop:

My mother is a very creative woman. As a child, I learned that she could make something beautiful out of anything. She repurposed things before it was popular to do, and she did it well. You would think that I picked up a lot of her skills... and you would be wrong. Of all the many things she tried to teach me, jewelry making was the only one I got into. Sure, I can sew a bit, cook pretty well, make a rock pet like a boss (chuckles from me, and eye-rolling from my brothers), but I don't intend on selling rock pets on Etsy... unless there is a market for that. The point is, jewelry is my thing... though I have always been pretty skilled with duct tape too... but that is another discussion.

Silver has always been my favorite precious metal. White gold and platinum look awesome too, but let's be honest, they are out of my price range. I love the color and slight sparkle of silver. I love glittery things and anything that catches the light. I love simple elegance and quality.

Tie this all together, and you have someone who needs an outlet for all her jewelry making. Add to that, a summer with no school, and a bit more time than I am used to, and Silver Star Gifts was born.

Right now I only have jewelry items, but eventually I would like to branch out to other gift items. Have suggestions? Let me know. I like to try new things. I might even talk my mom into joining my shop and contributing some of her creations.
