For years, I have been selling the herbs and spices for my famous French Onion Soup, and now I have finally added everything you need except for a few pantry items to make your own at home! Nothing beats fresh onions, but this soup is so easy and comforting, just like the Knorr's kind, only much, much healthier**

Ingredients: Onions, marjoram, parsley, sage, thyme, paprika, celery seed, bay leaf and nothing else!
Net wt 4 oz (112 g)
RECIPE
1 Package of Souper Spices French Onion Soup Mix
6 c stock or bouillon (beef or vegetable)
1 TB Butter or vegan substitute
1 TB extra virgin olive oil
1 TB Worcestershire sauce
1 TB A-1 (optional)
1/4 c cognac (optional)
Day old French bread slices or caraway rye
Provolone, Gruyere, Swiss cheese, or Vegan cheese
Add all ingredients to slow cooker and cook 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Place a small slice of the bread in the bottom of a crock and ladle in soup, top with a ¼” slice of cheese of your choice. To melt and brown the cheese, place the crocks on a tray 6 inches from broiler for just a few minutes. Watch closely so they don’t burn!
