How Do I Create Ornately Lanterns' Items?

• I use special Vitrail glass paint and Vitrail glass outliner • I leave each paint colour to dry naturally for 12 hours before the next colour is applied • I don’t oven bake these paints as I think you get a much richer, more intense effect if you take the time to let them dry naturally. • But it does mean that each item takes time to paint & dry before shipping - please check the shipping details for an indication of how long this one will take

Ordering & Customising

My items are designed to be easily personalised! • CANDLE HOLDERS: 1) choose your colour from the options listed under the title 2) to have a name added, please message with your order • GLASS BLOCKS: just message me to discuss colour preferences or other changes (each block takes about 2 weeks to paint & dry). To have a name added, then message me with your order – this will only take about 2 days • LANTERNS: the colours can be customised (lanterns usually take 3-4 weeks to paint & dry) Any cats can be changed to resemble your own (tabby, patch on back, etc.) – message me when you order. • JARS: choose your preferred colour combination from the options listed under the title (each jar takes about 3-4 weeks to paint before it ships

Led Fairy Lights for your Lantern, Block or Jar

PLUG IN LIGHTS (£10.00) give the brightest effect. 10M long with 100 LED bulbs Clear white cables & white bulbs Waterproof - can be used both indoors & out (though keep the plug in a dry place). They have 8 different "twinkle / flash" combinations, including "steady on". They come with a 2 point EU plug, 220-240V. I will include a 3 pin UK plug if sending to a UK buyer - or a 2 pin American plug if sending to a buyer in the USA or Canada BATTERY LIGHTS (£6.00) aren't as bright, but are useful if your item won’t be near a power point. 5M long with 50 LED bulbs Clear white cables & white bulbs NOT waterproof - keep indoors. 2 combinations - "steady on" or "flash" 3 x AA batteries required (batteries are NOT provided)

Ornately Lanterns’ items are great outside exposed to the elements, as they can weather both rain & sun extremely well. • BUT - please bring your purchase indoors during HEAVY rain or snow, as such weather can affect the quality of the paint • If your item gets dirty, it should NOT be soaked or scrubbed in water - & NO dishwashers! Instead please wipe it down gently with a damp cloth. • Your item can be seen at its best when lit up by bright sunshine, fairy lights or else with a candle. Please DON’T touch if candle is burning, as the metal of the lantern can get hot.

Glass is both heavy AND fragile, alas - so I take extra care when preparing your item for shipping. • The lanterns and glass blocks are too heavy to travel by ordinary mail (not that I would trust the postman with them!), so I will always send these by courier. • Items usually take 2 - 7 days to arrive, depending on where you are in the world. • Your purchase will be very carefully wrapped in a very, VERY large amount of protective card, bubble, wrap, air cushions, etc. I always use biodegradable packaging & I try to recycle where I can, as I don't really like to use so much packing - however, I find that it's required!! • If any damage occurs during shipping, please contact me within 14 days with photos & I will do my best to help.

This stained glass hanging lantern features hand painted portraits of England's King Richard III and his queen, Anne Neville. Good in the garden and a great sun catcher, it would make a fabulous gift for a Ricardian or an enthusiast for either British history generally (and of English Kings & Queens particularly).

This lantern is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I am in total awe over the craftsmanship! I purchased special lighting to give it that flame effect, and it really enhances the beauty of the lantern!
