The symbol for the feminine divine (the goddess) is here flanked in sun and fire. Though the sun is often associated with masculine energy, this is not always true. Most notably the Norse (Sol or Sunna) and the Egyptians (Sekhmet) worshipped sun goddesses.

The ornament is 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, laser cut (by me! In Maine!) out of 1/4" birch plywood, and finished with a light stain. It comes with a slender ivory ribbon for hanging.

Keep in mind that this image is only an example of the ornament you will get! Each will have slight variations as a result of knots or other changes in the wood, which can also affect the way the wood takes the stain. So yours might also be slightly darker or lighter. Part of the joy of using natural materials is the variety of tones you get!
