This paper doll was made from my original illustration and is about 8.5" tall.
This is a "traditional" paper doll (it is not jointed) and uses a triangular prop system so that the doll can stand up. I have included both the color and the black-and-white pages in this set.
Saint Teresa of the Andes (Saint Teresa de Jesús de los Andes) was born in Chile, on July 13, 1900. Her life was short, she died at the age of 19 in 1920, but it was a joyful and peaceful life. Through the grace of God, she developed a strong prayer life and did her best to turn her human faults into strengths. She entered a small Carmelite community in Los Andes, Chile, and spent the last eleven months of her life there. Her diary was later published, and she became a model for young people all over the world. Her shrine at Los Andes is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year. She is the first canonized Chilean saint. Her feast day is April 12.
