VERY RARE Antique The Barnard Language Reader - Marion D. Paine - 1913, hardcover - gorgeous illustrations, New York, American Book Company

This antique book has absolutely gorgeous illustrations!

This listing is for the antique book, "The Barnard Language Reader" by Marion D. Paine, "instructor in the Barnard Schools, New York City." It was published by the American Book Company and copyrighted 1913. This little book is hardcover with 142 pages. There are several illustrations throughout, both black and white and colorized. The inside pages, other than very slight yellowing with age and some staining from age, are clear and easily readable. The original owner's name, Alice Willard, is hand-written on the first blank page. The small book size is about 7-1/2 inches by 5-1/8 inches by 1/2 inch thick. This antique book is in good vintage condition for it's age, with some damage to the spine at the bottom, some staining and minor tears. (see photos) This very rare beauty would make an excellent addition to anyone's book collection.

Who is rust2retro? Right now we are four….a mother (Linda), father (Bob) & 2 daughters (Melissa & Sara). But we also have other family members help us out from time to time.
