Linseed oil is used to bring out the beautiful grains of the cedar and further assist the wood in resisting water. The basket body is made of Poly-coated (Black) hardware cloth. This allows you to rinse your harvest right in the basket. All the hardware is either stainless steel or coated steel, designed to resist rusting.
