What a year 1942 was! This personalised 80th Birthday print records key events in the United Kingdom and worldwide on the eve of the Second World War making a special birthday gift for him or her.
The print contains all sorts of fascinating information. But best of all... hidden within the "Special Arrivals this Year" section you have the opportunity to add the name of the birthday boy or girl.
***Please advise me of the words to include via the Note to Seller box (easy instructions at end of listing). There is no word limit but the more words you include the smaller the text will be.***
For instance "Jack James, known for his knowledge of every real ale!" or "Kathleen Hanley, possibly the most enthusiastic gardener ever!"
This lovely print guides the reader through a wide variety of themes and facts which give a real flavour of the era - wireless listening(!), the news, the top toys and names...

Really nice print and made extra special by being able to add the personalised message, great delivery time as well. Thank you
I would have given 5 stars as this is a beautiful piece that I ordered for my anniversary but it arrived with a scratch, about an inch long (little longer), right over the linen heart/writing (& a big eye sore). It was on the inside of the glass which makes me think it didn't happen during shipping, packaging was not damaged and it arrived quicker than I thought. I love this piece but now I will need to purchase a replacement glass for this frame. I would still recommend this because it is a unique and beautiful gift, but I would just warn that in my particular shipment, the glass had a small-ish scratch on it. (Full disclosure: I did not contact customer service for a replacement glass, this was shipped overseas and I'd rather go to a local store and get a replacement glass than chance/wait for one too be possibly shipped.)
Our "Tin Heart" and looks absolutely beautiful! Thank you for making such a beautiful anniversary gift! This is a very attractive and excellent quality item. We previously purchased the "Copper Heart" for our seven-year anniversary. We just purchased the "Tin Heart" for our ten-year anniversary. They look so beautiful!
