Most shaving soaps use Clay in the soap to make it slick on your skin to give you a close shave. The one thing that they won’t tell you is that it also dulls your Razor VERY FAST. Celestial Farms shaving soap does not use clay, instead we use Raw Tussah Silk.

During the soap making process, raw silk is introduced into the mixture to allow the protein fibers to break up, making a silk soft soft feeling soap that is slick to the touch. This creates the closeness needed, while helping nourish the skin rather than drying it out. Also, it won't dull your razors.
