Elegant and refined, the versatile Lady Beatrice brooch pin exudes class and hints at nobility and excess. A smooth oval gem serves as the centerpiece, accompanied by two round pearls and decorative bronze filigree. Faceted crystal beads add movement, dangling on either side of the focal gem. A large radiant teardrop pearl trails from the southern-most point, inviting movement and reflective light.

Wear this brooch pin as a brooch is intended, or pin it on your renaissance era hat for a historically appropriate focal. String the brooch on a cord or ribbon for display as a pendant, or loop it on a strand of small pearls for a striking bodice accompaniment.

The brooch measures 3.5” tall and 2” wide with the pin back is set in a north-to-south orientation. It affixes easily via a hook style closure that conceals the pin and prevents pricking. Gem color choices complement the teardrop and flanking pearls and include sapphire blue, light sapphire blue, emerald green, black onyx, creamy pearl, golden topaz, and ruby red. Royal purple gems are also available with all pearl drops.

✦ SIZING ✦
My sizing scale is not based upon normal clothing sizes. When ordering items such as belts, chains, and livery collars, etc., it is highly recommended that you measure before ordering. If you don’t have a tape measure you can use a ruler or another object with a known length and a piece of string to get a close estimate. Or you can search the internet for “printable tape measure”, print it out, tape/glue together, and measure away.

For reference, here are the measurements for my most commonly used props:

Fanny (light blue dress) & Matilda (dark blue dress) female mannequin measurements are: 34” bust, 24” waist, 34” hip, 14” shoulders

Manny (male torso) mannequin measurements: 16” neck and 20” over the collar, 17” shoulders, 37” chest, 34” waist

Hettie (head & shoulders) mannequin measurements: 22” head circumference with wig, 13” neck

Costume jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Make sure you’ve applied any makeup, perfume, cologne, lotions, oils, hairspray, etc. and have given them time to dry before putting on your jewelry. Avoid wet, damp, and humid conditions if possible, removing your jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, washing dishes, etc. Commercial jewelry cleaners, chemicals, and even the pH of your skin can induce a chemical reaction causing color changes. Clean, dry thoroughly, and store your costume jewelry in an air tight container.
