This colorful geometrical wall hanging was handmade using picture frames I found in a local thrift shop and different kinds of yarn. It's a great way to add some color to a room!
You might not spot the macrame knots right away, but it is what I use to attach the yarn to the frames and keep everything in place. Because the lower frames are attached to the upper one with the same yarn as their background, they appear to be floating.
The big picture frame is 46cm wide and the entire wall hanging is about 86cm from top to bottom.
There is no hanging system attached to the wall hanging, so the easiest way to hang it is to place te top of the upper frame over one or two regular nails.
The yarns I used are either cotton, acrylic or a mix of both. Because I use thriftshop picture frames for these wall hangings, there will never be another one exactly like it.
Cat not included.

If you want to make sure the colors of the yarn will match your expectations, for example because you don’t want the wall hanging to clash with the rest of your interior, you can order a small yarn sample. To do this, go to the “samples” section in this shop, order a yarn sample (€0,20 + shipping costs) and mention “FRAME Wall Hanging - Blue/Brown” in the notes with your order.
Processing, packaging and shipping order can take 1 to 5 business days. Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Contact me if you want a more specific indication of when you can expect your order to arrive.

Wall hangings are wrapped carefully, but the fringes might arrive a bit messy and need some gentle hand-combing to be put back into place.
