This eco-friendly DIY crochet kit contains everything you need to make a tactile toy for a young child in the form of two linked rings.

Create this fascinating toy formed of two interlinked rings in beautiful organic cotton in the colours of your choice.

The finished rings are each approximately 9cm in diameter. An upcycled gift tag is included if you are giving the finished toy as a present

The kit is available with your choice of machine-washable 100% recycled polyester toy stuffing or natural carded wool. The wool stuffing is a natural product. It is scoured and clean but may still include the odd bit of straw or leaf. If you choose the wool version, your rings can be gently soaked to clean.

The rings are made using a 3.5mm (US: E-4) crochet hook (or the size you need to make a compact crochet fabric with the given yarn). I offer top-quality Pony crochet hooks, made of 100% natural bamboo, which are smooth, strong, flexible and warm to the touch.

Like all my crochet patterns, the pattern is available in UK crochet terms or US crochet terms. If you're not sure which you need, just ask and I'll help you choose.

The whole kit is designed to be as sustainable as I can make it, and is beautifully presented, and so makes a great gift for a crafty or eco-minded friend.
