Custom Clothing Labels: Organic Cotton or PolyCotton, Sew-On, Full Color

This listing is for fabric labels printed with your custom design, text or logo.

These can be made about any size and printed on your choice of organic cotton (UNBLEACHED) or fray-resistant poly/cotton (WHITE).
No extra charge for using more than one color ink.

The size of each label will determine the yield (send a convo if your size is not listed or if you need help deciding):
2" x 1" - 40 labels per sheet
2.5" x 1" - 30 labels per sheet
1.5" x 1" - 50 labels per sheet
2" x .75" - 56 labels per sheet
2.5" x .75" - 42 labels per sheet
1" x 1" - 80 labels per sheet
1.25" x 1.25" - 48 labels per sheet
1.5" x 1.5" - 35 labels per sheet
2" x 2" - 20 labels per sheet
2.5" x 1.5" - 21 labels per sheet
A "sheet" is used as a reference/unit of measure and is about the size of a sheet of paper.

Once you've placed your order and determined which size will work best, your order will be shipped by the date shown on your etsy invoice.

I'm happy to send a pre-press digital proof if one is requested. Please note that this will increase the turnaround time!

The discount for larger orders is valid if using the same design. I am not able to split up orders into different designs, text variations, etc. If you need more than one design or variation printed and are not sure how to purchase multiples of the same listing, please reach out and I can tell you how to order.

And now, for lots of info that may or may not be of interest:

SEW-ON labels are washer/dryer/dry clean safe.
They may be used for clothing, baby/child items, pet items, accessories, home decor items, knit/crochet/felted/embroidered/hooked items, etc...
For diapers or other heavily-washed/worn items, the sew on fray-resistant type of label is recommended.

ALL labels exceed CPSC (CPSIA) requirements

ORGANIC COTTON: is a tightly woven fabric of GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton. Cut on the bias so that the fabric edges will not fray, but fuzz. It is recommended to sew around all edges if the item will be machine washed or dried. For diapers, baby or pet items, this type of label may not be the best option; as it is more for visual appeal/aesthetics than durability. I work very closely with carefully selected vendors to assure consistency in quality. Due to the nature of unbleached organic cottons, the coloring and amount of brown bits/specks will vary. Since no high-impact dyes are used, this is normal and to be expected.
COLOR: UNBLEACHED/NATURAL

NO-FRAY POLY/COTTON: a patented fabric made exclusively for garment labels. This is labeled and marketed as "no-fray". I prefer the term "fray-resistant" (as nothing is permanent). I have used this for years with splendid results. If you want something that will hold up like iron, this is it.
COLOR: WHITE

PRINTING PROCESS/INKS: All labels are professionally printed using eco-friendly water-based TEXTILE pigment inks. These are not DIY fabric sheets run through a desktop or home printer; nor are they made using a transfer method or any polymers. NO harsh chemicals, heavy metals, high-impact dyes or solvents are ever used or stored in or near my shop.
COLORFAST: I periodically test to assure color-fastness utilizing both dry and wet rub methods.
