He comes pinned into a wooden 8 x 10 inch frame, but he is not glued down, so you can take him out and cuddle him if you wish. The frame is ready to hang, or stand on a desktop or bookshelf.

Mine looks great! Wonderful craftsmanship. My only complaint is that mine doesn't take up as much room on the board as in the picture. There is more just black space than in the listing picture by a noticeable degree. That is my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
