Measures approx 3” tall

Each chick is made from wool and needle felted over a wire armature. I hand-card a blend of yellow and orange-toned wool and a bit of silk for their feathers. I always reference photos and my sketches of chicks while making each of these tiny cheepers. Eyes are glass for an authentic appearance. I sculpt the beaks from clay, paint them in acrylics, and finish them with a satin glaze. Since every chick is handcrafted, each is unique, just like a real hatchling. No two chicks will look exactly alike, coloring will also have very slight variations.

As adorable as these chicks are, they are not meant as a toy and are intended for display/decorative purposes only. Please keep out of reach from small children and pets.
