Beautiful, original, hand painted, Koi wall Art.

I love this piece. It is very unique, clean, modern painting. I have never seen anything like it.

It is painted on 11 x 14 inch (27.94 cm. x 35.56 cm.) canvas board with flat white acrylic paint and finished with eggshell and tangerine prism paint.

I love fish, but my inspiration for this piece was indeed the paint. I had never used this type of paint and was curious. Prism paint is very fluid and runs; therefore, I had to first outline the fish with a relief medium to hold the prism paint in place. This painting, not only contains the neat, individualistic prisms created randomly by the paint, but has texture due to the relief gel I had to use. it works out well enhancing what would be the bone and fin structure of the fish. The prism paint has changed color over time and I have updated my photos to demonstrate it's current color. This paint is a chemical process and it is possible that the colors in the fish could continue to darken over time. It started off a cream and is now a beautiful gold. The tangerine orange head has remained constant, as well as the white canvas panel. The other interesting effect of this paint is that it creates a lacquer finish. Fish decor comes framed , as shown in picture. Glass will be included (There is no glass in picture due to glare) Frame is very clean, simple, modern and contemporary. I think it works best with this art, so that viewers can take notice of the details in the painting. Picture is ready to hang. Frame is 13 x 16 inch (33.02 cm. x 40.64 cm.) Please note the fish are a little darker now than they were in my framed photo.

I do think this is an incredibly neat piece and am very excited for whom ever receives it. I will be making more with this paint and seeing what else I can come up with, but yours will always be unique and original because I can't ever completely duplicate the effects of the paint.
