Highlights
For the cat people! Necklace reverses for two cat-themed messages. "Talks to Cats" is written on off white enamel, and "Cat Person" is written on robin's egg blue enamel.
Made from sterling silver, small and wearable at only 3/4" wide by just over 1/4" tall. Enameled in my Oakland, California workshop.
The pendant comes with a 16 - 20 inch adjustable sterling silver chain.

I carved the sterling silver setting from a block of wax, then cast that wax pendant into metal and molded it so I can make multiples. Both sides of the setting then get a layer of vitreous enamel (fine glass) and fired at 1400 degrees in a kiln, four separate times, to build strength and color saturation . Finally I take an illustration from my sketchbook, turn it into an enamel screen print, and fire that on the top for a durable, waterproof and vibrant finish. So many steps.
