*LENGTH* To decide on the length you want, first decide where you want it in your hair. Most people choose to place their hair wraps either at the top of their head or behind their ear. Measure your hair in inches, then minus one to two inches to find your best length. Please remember curly hair will spring shorter than straight hair, and length ordered DOES NOT include the tassel. Please make sure you have measured your hair in INCHES not cm. Contact me if you require further assistance with measuring. My Hair Wraps are sold in length brackets or 10-11 inches, 12-13 inches etc. That does not take into account the length of the tassel. The thickness of each wrap can vary ever so slightly, but in general, they a little thinner than a pencil.

Hair Wraps come with a SMALL loop as standard. Dread Wraps come with LARGE loop as standard. **Please leave a note when you check-out if you would rather an alternative attachment** SMALL LOOP - For natural hair (NOT dreadlocked). WEFT CLIP - For hair shorter than 4 inches (10cm), and those with limited dexterity. Choose cream, brown or black. Clips snap open and shut, so are a very simple way to attach the wrap to your hair.

Please be aware the colour of your wrap may look different to what is displayed on your monitor, as devices display colours differently. All thread is of the highest quality, and colour-fast. ALL hair wraps are available WITH or WITHOUT glitter thread. The glitter thread adds a shimmer to the wrap, but if you would prefer a matte finish, please choose NO glitter thread from the dropdown menu. Some hair wrap patterns may need slight adaptations if you choose NO glitter thread. Colours of beads may vary, depending on what I have in stock, but I match as precisely as possible. Please note that my handmade sea glass beads sometimes have marks and 'imperfections'. This is completely normal and is just part of their uniqueness and charm.

All packaging is very sturdy, PLASTIC-FREE and biodegradable. Wraps come attractively packaged in individual clear bags (with braiding bands in a paper envelope), care instructions, and a link to a video to show you the easiest way to attach the Hair Wrap. Charms & Feathered charms- as above. The feathered charm is also wrapped in recycled tissue paper, for protection. Feathered charms have their own care instructions. If you choose gift-wrap, these are then attractively wrapped in recycled tissue paper, and tied with a hemp bow with a paper heart swing-tag. All orders are sent in sturdy cardboard envelopes or boxes, with paper tape to fasten.

Will I receive the exact same item shown?

I do my best to recreate the original picture but you won't receive the exact same wrap or charm as in the photograph. The nature of hand-made products is that there will always be tiny variations, although I strive to keep these to an absolute minimum. I aim to copy the pattern exactly of the Hair Wrap photographed, and I keep a detailed inventory of the DMC colour numbers I have used in each and every Hair Wrap, so I can make the wrap as precisely as possible. Very occasionally, my embroidery cotton or specific beads are out of stock. In this instance, I will make a close substitution in keeping with the product. I try and match feathers as close to the listing picture as possible also, but please be aware each feather is unique.

How to care for my Hair Wrap?

An unwashed Hairwrap will last for years, a regularly washed Hair Wrap will last for months. Therefore, for maximum lifespan, please remove before washing hair. Salt water damages hair wraps, so please remove before bathing in the sea, flotation tanks etc. Metal, wooden and 'mottled-glass' beads may deteriorate over time. Therefore, for maximum life-span, I recommend you remove wraps with these beads prior to washing. Please do not shower, swim, sleep or be active with your Feathers or charms attached to your Hair Wrap. Hair Wraps without charms can be tied back with a LOOSE hair band when being active. When not in use, please make sure your hair wrap is thouroughly dry, and store in a breathable bag to allow air circulation

When will my purchase ship?

Most items are made to order especially for you, so most orders will be made and posted within 1-3 days time frame. Please allow 3-5 days at busy times (you can check 'processing times' for up to date information). Please contact me before your purchase if it's time sensitive.

How long does shipping take?

UK ORDERS All orders ship 1st Class Signed For- it takes 1-2 days to arrive, without a guarantee. All international orders ship by Royal Mail TRACKED (no signature required). The usual delivery time frame is 7-28 days, a little less for EU. CUSTOMS Please check your country's customs charges for ordering from the UK, as I am unable to calculate these for you. POSTAL DELAYS Sometimes delays may happen especially at seasonal busy times and due to Customs checks. Unfortunately, this is completely out of my control. For any cancellation and refund requests due to delays, I have to wait 25 working days to start a claim with Royal Mail. If you need the item urgently, please contact me to discuss express shipment BEFORE placing your order.

Returns, refunds and exchanges

On non-custom made items, I gladly accept returns and exchanges. Please contact me within 14 days of arrival of your item. Return postage is at buyer's expense. Item must be in its original unworn condition, and posted to me within 14 days after return authorisation. Please post - with tracking - in a sturdy, padded box or envelope. Proof of postage without tracking is not proof of return. For health and hygiene reasons, I can not accept returns of any items related to the hair which has been taken out of its original, hygiene-sealed packaging. Once I receive the authorised return, I will inspect the item condition. Buyer is responsible for any loss of value. I can either post a replacement at buyer's expense, or a refund will be issued.

I have been making Hair Wraps for over 25 years. I use only the highest quality DMC embroidery thread in every hair wrap, along with top quality glitter thread which adds a depth and richness to the wrap. You can now choose WITHOUT glitter thread if you would prefer a matt finish.

You can add charms to your hair wrap. Please ask for a charm-ring to be added to the bottom of your wrap when you check-out if you want to be able to add charms.
