Macintosh Plus Floral Shoppe, an album that changed my life.
Comprised of pastel, chalk, and ink.
It is 31.5" long x 24.5"high. The poster has been sealed so there is no rub-off/smudging.
This is a combination of both album covers that came with the album. I kept all the parts I liked.
You cannot find anything with both the silver border and flower with text.
If you want closer pictures that can easily be arranged.
As of now this is a one of a kind that I do not intend to reproduce.
This work was exceptionally challenging and extremely satisfying to complete and I enjoy it supremely.
Total time spent was 60 hours.
Shortly after it's release a good friend of mine showed it to me.
I immediately was sucked into the genre which at the time I had been dabbling in but this took me under the waves and deep into the vapor mist.
The amount of time I have played track #2 -"リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュ" on loop probably constitutes the better part of 4-6 months of time. I was listening to nearly nothing but this album at all times.
During this binge of the album I had become more and more driven to complete several works larger than I had ever done.
The Floral Shoppe poster comprising the largest piece I have made yet.
My friend who initially introduced me to the album had met the artist Vektroid shortly after I had completed a small black and white version of The Floral Shoppe and sent it to him in Portland.
After the black and white original sketch was completed I had a craving to complete a full color album poster to try and send to Vektroid as a gift for the wonderful things that Vektroid gave the to world.
As I sent word to my friend of the completed project and my intentions to give it to Vektroid he suggested that Vektroid was indifferent to the fame the album had accumulated and probably would not want the poster.
