Ladies & Fellas, you have just come across the most perfect festival blouse straight from the 1960's and this is WILD, baby! The leather work ShirtJac has all of the bells and whistles and comes to you from the high end designer, LILLIE RUBIN! Pop this on with a great pair of bell bottoms and off you go! This is an incredible number that demands attention and the workmanship is stellar!

This LILLIE RUBIN Top Features:

1. Thick, jet black corduroy. Warm, sturdy and lovely, this corduroy holds its shape VERY well and is midnight black in color. Richly pigmented, it sets up the proper background for all of the bright suede and leather work!

2. The front of the top has silver metal snap buttons and the sleeve cuffs feature the same closures

3. Point collar has great stature and looks great worn up for a chic, edgy look, but can also be worn down for a more casual approach.

4. Long sleeves have a 1 1/2 inch cuff on them for a comfortable, yet stylish finish.

5. The interior of the top is lined in a deep yellow, thick cotton for added insulation.

6. The front left of the top has a very large toucan or cockatiel bird. Tropical and large, it takes up the whole bottom portion of the front. It is constructed in multiple shades of suede leather. The bird's head feathers are in shocking pink, cherry red and an ocean blue. The beak is banana yellow and a soft brown and the head is lavender purple. The body of the bird is chartreuse green with teal, mandarin orange and more lavender and yellow.

7. The back of the shirt is AMAZING! Not to say that the bird on the front isn't spectacular, because it IS, but the back is so very ARABIAN NIGHTS! It features a bearded man riding an elephant in the moonlight and the elephant is spraying water up into the night! The man is sitting on a carpet that is strewn across the elephant's back and the colors are vivid and bright! The elephant is cherry red with aubergine and his tusk is a deep golden. His legs are a soft brown and yellow and his eye is a single, gold, metal stud. The bearded man on his back has a red metal stud eye, red hair or turban and is cloaked in orange and pink.

8. The stitch work on the leather is all done in clear threading.

9. The jacket has a single seam down the center of the back and a straight cut hem.

This is a killer piece! The corduroy is pitch black and sturdy and the snap buttons are strong and secure. The workmanship on this piece is superb and I cannot get over the COLORS! They absolutely POP against that jet black background and the suede is so buttery soft. This is an exceptional piece for the collector and the wearer of fine vintage. This is going to look great worn over your favorite dress or fellas, wear this with your favorite pair of bell bottom jeans! This is a superb piece of WEARABLE ART and you will not be disappointed.

CONDITION~
Excellent. The suede needs to be cleaned in some areas as there are dirt marks to the leather, but it does not detract from the piece. The buttons are starting to show patina, but all function well and I personally think it adds charm to the piece.

The shoulder to shoulder measurement is 16 1/2 inches
Sleeve length is 24 inches from shoulder to sleeve end
Underarm to sleeve end is 18 1/2 inches
Length of the shirt from shoulder to hem is 27 inches
