5 out of 5 starsProbably not the best idea as a second sewing project ever, but the instructions made putting the pattern together super easy, and once I got started it was great. Everyone thinks this skirt is store bought! I have since looked at many more Depew patterns!

Unlike the other reviewers, I did not have a good experience piecing together 35 pages of 8.5 x 11 printer sheets. I was planning to use expensive crepe-back silk (a tricky fabric to work with) and decided after several attempts just to achieve a workable, aligned pattern on my cutting table, that it wasn't worth ruining the fabric to see if it would work. I am an experienced seamstress and have good tools, I just couldn't overcome the the stiff jigsaw puzzle of paper on silk. Lesson learned.
