ROSE QUARTZ PROPERTIES:
Rose quartz is a variety of quartz, with its pink color resulting from traces of titanium, iron, or manganese. It has a chemical formula of SiO2 (silicon dioxide). The pink color of rose quartz can vary from pale to vibrant pink, and it is often associated with the presence of small mineral inclusions within the crystal. Rose quartz forms in pegmatite veins, which are coarse-grained igneous rocks typically found in association with granite. These veins result from the slow cooling of magma deep within the Earth's crust. Madagascar is one of the significant sources of rose quartz in the world. It is known for producing high-quality specimens, and its rose quartz is sought after by collectors, lapidaries, and gem enthusiasts.
