WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOJOBA OIL?

Jojoba Oil is a 'liquid wax' which is almost identical to the oil which our skin produces, so it is readily absorbed by our skin, keeping it plump, hydrated and supple.

Out of over 350,000 plant species, jojoba seeds are the only ones which produces a waxy oil, which is almost identical to our body's oil sebum. This causes it to be strongly absorbed, and deeply penetrating.

Unrefined Jojoba Oil spreads as a soft, silky sensation, on the skin, inspiring Massage Therapists, and causing it to become a favorite body moisturizer.

Beware of lower grades of Jojoba Oil. Non-organic, heat-expressed, refined, low-grade Jojoba Oil will be cheaper, but has almost none of the active ingredients left in it!

Unrefined Jojoba Oil is rich in Omega 9 (Oleic acid), which boosts the lipid (oil) content of the skin, and improves the appearance of the skin's barrier function. This helps protect delicate skin.

Omega 9 in Jojoba Oil improves moisture levels, and helps the skin retain its own moisture, leading to improved softness, hydration, and elasticity.

Skin application of Omega 9 is particularly beneficial to dry skin issues such as rough irritated itching patches, and during extreme weather conditions, such as cold, sun, and wind, all of which can strip away at the skin's lipid barrier.
