Hand carved wooden bowls.

This listing is for a set of 4 small hand carved wooden pinch bowls. Each bowl is carved with care and is unique. These bowls are a perfect addition to a natural kitchen and fit into many contexts outside of just cooking and prep.

Great for displaying/highlighting contents inside, holding small objects or tokens, or putting out around the house for emptying your pockets. The natural wood feel and look really compliments many situations.

Choose all one wood type or one of each type in Walnut, Cherry, Maple and Smokey Walnut. Additionally, you can have them finished in your choice of just oil (matte), Bee's wax/oil (eggshell), or Bee's wax/oil/Shellac (most protective & satin).

The first 4 pics are of 1 of each wood type. The 5th pic is all cherrywood. The last 2 are all walnut.

The bowls are food safe no matter which finish you choose, I use all natural products cured properly.

Wooden spoons should never be put in the dishwasher. Use a mild soap and hand wash. Dry as soon as possible and any time your spoon begins to "dull" a quick wipe with a food safe oil (I use olive oil) will renew its luster and help to extend its life! Remember, nothing is forever... even wooden spoons- they eventually return to our earth. Enjoy them and use them!

Unlike many shops I simply fill each order in the order they arrive. If you have 10 orders in front of yours, I do not skip over others in line to fill smaller "easier" orders. I find this method fair to all parties.

Most of your wait time will be progressing to the top of my work list. Once I start, things move along on your item steadily each day after. It is not uncommon to wait 10 days before I can BEGIN on any given order... our shop is popular. Good things come to those who can wait.

I will contact you and let you know I have in fact recieved your order. You will then be placed on my work list. I will rough a blank(s) for your order and soak them in water. At that point I will contact you again saying I have "roughed" your order.

The soaking allows any cracks, warping, etc. to come out of the wood and to be corrected or provides an opportunity to begin again EARLY in the process.

After that, you will likely have a longer gap in when you next hear from me as I work until your order reaches the top of my list. Then, you will recieve more regular updates as I progress on your order since it will be worked on continuously with a smaller group at the top until completed. I carve fast but we are a busy shop!
