Together with my aunt she has taken over my grandma's craft of colorful afghans.

All 176 squares in this blanket present different color patterns - not two are the same, just like the saris of Indian women, which my mother admires so much during her annual visits to India.

The squares are joined together with a red yarn.

It's this color pageant that she has tried to capture in her knitting.

Size of this blanket is 86.6 inch x 63 inch / 220 cm x 160 cm.
