Herkimer Diamonds are a type of quartz crystal and should not be confused with actual diamonds. These quartz crystals are transparent, double-terminated (natural points on both ends), and often associated with petroleum or coal deposits in sedimentary rocks. They received their name from the Herkimer region in New York. We source our quartz crystals from the Balochistan Region in Pakistan.
