And our boards do NOT have a website or logo engraved. Your family's recipe is the only thing the recipient will see.

This board measures 11 1/2" wide by 8 3/4" tall by 1/2" thick. It is made of 100% bamboo, which is a sustainable, eco-friendly material. It also contains natural anti-microbial properties which make it ideal for use in food preparation. The laser engraving does not affect these properties and this is food safe, though since it's so pretty you might hesitate to get it dirty and only want it for show!

1. Please read the following instructions below on how to send us your recipe.

2. Make sure you have your High Resolution, Full Color or Greyscale image(s) available for your order. No BITMAPS (.bmp files) – we cannot use those.

3. When ordering, list the name of the RECIPE in the PERSONALIZATION field. This field is for matching your image to your order – IT WILL NOT BE ENGRAVED ON THE BOARD.

Note: ONLY ONE IMAGE per recipe unless it’s a recipe card and we will accept two images with consistent quality from the front and back of the card. (We will not use 3 or more recipe images to create one recipe – requests for this will be considered a special order with additional artwork fees due to the time involved)

4. We do a clean-up of all images; we will remove spots and blemishes so that text can be read (within reason).

Note: Extensive reconstruction of missing text or adding signatures from other images, etc. may incur an artwork charge - we will let you know if that's the case.

5. Send recipe image through Etsy conversations or email to info [!at] ladymaggie.com with the your Etsy ORDER NUMBER in the subject line. (THIS IS HOW WE MATCH YOUR IMAGE TO YOUR ORDER)

After checkout you will receive an automated email confirming your order and repeating the instructions for the scan. If you do not receive that email, please contact us! Etsy emails are sometimes blocked by web-based email providers (aol, yahoo, hotmail) and if we can't communicate with you we will be forced to cancel your order.

IMAGE REQUIREMENTS

FULL COLOR or 256 GREYSCALE ONLY. JPG, TIFF, or PDF.
HIGH RESOLUTION ONLY (300dpi MINIMUM, 600dpi IDEAL)

**Flatbed scans are best, but we can accept photos. If using a photo, please follow these rules:
**No shadows – use the best lighting you can
**No angles/slants – take the photo from straight above
**DO NOT HOLD THE RECIPE AND TAKE A PHOTO – lay it on a flat surface
**Image must be in focus – if it’s blurry we can’t use it
**No edges curling up or down – if it’s in a book, try pressing it under a sheet of glass or plexiglass

When emailing or attaching the images, please ensure that your email client or browser is not automatically resizing the images to save data. We need the high resolution images. You may need to reference the manual for your client or your phone to determine how to correct this.

If you don't feel you can take a suitable photo and if you don't have access to a scanner you can always search for an apps called:

GOOGLE PHOTOSCAN
SCANBOT

All these apps will produce a PDF file that we can use. They will allow you to tweak the image before you send it.

Please note that due to issues with USPS, we may ship this out via UPS. Tracking information will be sent to you when this ships which will give you an estimated delivery date.
