The Thorsmork Knitting Pattern is for any knitter that knows how to knit, purl and K2tog. All it takes is circular (or DPN) knitting needles and a skein of yarn. This pattern has recently been revamped for 3 sizes instead of just 1. Small (Regular, Large) which will fit Women Regular (Mens Regular, Mens Large).

INTRODUCTION
The Thorsmork beanie is a very simple hat with a folded brim and slouchy bunchy top. Perfect for that relaxed, cozy style. You can fold the brim as much as you want to reach your desired slouchiness.
SIZING
• Small (Regular, Large)
• Small will fit the average woman, Regular will fit the average man and the Large is for a larger male fit.
• Circumference: 20.25 (22.25, 23.25) inches, {51.5 (56.5, 59) cm}
• Unfolded length: 11.5 (11.5, 12) inches, {29 (29, 30.5) cm}
YARN - Worsted (Medium #4)
• Approx. 200 (225, 245) yards, {183 (206, 224) meters}
Sample uses: Lion Brand Heartland (100% Acrylic, 251 yds {230 m}/142g) in the colorway Joshua Tree.
NEEDLES
• US 8 {5 mm} circular needles 16″ {40 cm} and optional 32" {80 cm}
• Or size needed to match gauge.
GAUGE
• Stockinette - Worked in the Round
• • 14.5 sts / 24 rounds = 4″ {10 cm}.
Note: It's easier to measure gauge in stockinette. Typically if you match stockinette gauge, you will also match the stitch pattern gauge (in this case 1x1 rib).
• 1x1 Rib (slightly stretched) - Worked in the Round
• • 16.5 sts / 23 rounds = 4" {10 cm

Great pattern with useful links provided
It was a very easy pattern to follow. That said, the decreases felt a bit abrupt and left the top a little bulky. I wish there were photos showing the top of the beanie. I ended up modifying the pattern to make the decreases more gradual.
I am knitting again after many years away from it and this pattern made me want to make not one hat, but then immediately start another. The links to tutorials were an immense help. Id definitely buy another pattern from The Blue Mouse.
