This wonderful geographical chart drawn by Levi Walter Yaggy is among the most beautiful and impressive educational charts published in the 19th century. Yaggy used chromolithography to create educational charts with stunning colors and contrasts of the world, its regions, and peoples.

This chart shows a cross section of the geological layers under the surface of the earth. The sky depicts 4 cloud types identified by using groupings of birds from 1-4 in a key at the bottom of the print.
