At the start of September 2020, it seems as though postal workers in my area are not scanning packages. This issue is leading to packages to appear to be not moving, and in some cases, not arriving in a timely manner. In many cases, the packages ARE moving, and being delivered. This is still pretty frustrating for thousands of buyers and sellers across Etsy.

Since I was made aware of this issue, I have been personally taking my packages to the Post Office so that I can confirm that they're being scanned by an employee.

If this issue with the USPS resolves itself in the next few months or so, I will remove this FAQ, but for now I just want to share this information.

Yes, I can change the address when creating shipping labels. This situation happens all the time. Customers usually see the shipping address immediately after their order is placed, and reach out to me minutes after placing an order.

I try to create the shipping labels at the end of the day, or early the day after an order is placed, so there is usually plenty of time to reach out to me.

If an item has already been shipped out with the incorrect address information, there is nothing that I can do unfortunately. A new order will have to be placed by the customer. Thank you for your understanding.

The pin was perfect!! It was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but it was still an awesome gift for my brother’s birthday. He really loved it, especially as a fox main. Also, I’ve included a picture of a quarter for scale of the pin :)
